Root Canals or Endodontic Therapy

Root canal therapy becomes necessary when the nerve or pulp of a tooth is compromised due to decay or fracture.  The exposed nerve can be very uncomfortable, usually illiciting a sharp or throbbing pain.  Most root canal treatment can be done comfortably, and with minimal post op pain!  Often our patients remark that their root canal therapy wasn't anything like their friends had warned them to expect.  Prompt treatment is usually key in successful, pain free root canal therapy.

We provide this treatment in our office and also work with a wonderful group of specialists when the need arises.

The following shows 4 canals in the tooth that have been cleaned and sealed.
